Walk-in clinics also offer more affordable options for non-emergency medical situations, such as minor burns, cold and flu, sore throat, mild asthma, minor cuts and wounds, etc.

When and why should I go to a walk-in clinic?

If you have a medical emergency that is not life-threatening, and if your regular family doctor is not available for an appointment, a walk-in clinic is a convenient and quality option. For example, if you have suffered a sports injury, such as a sprained ankle or a severe but not life-threatening cut, our medical professionals at Joshua Emergicare can evaluate and treat your injury, and give you the resources you need to recover.
A visit to a walk-in clinic is also a significantly less expensive option than a visit to the emergency room for urgent medical care. Furthermore, because of the high volume of emergency room patients, you will likely have a smaller wait-time for your medical consultation than you will if you visit an emergency room for a medical emergency that is not life-threatening.

We also have on-site Lab Testing that has been accredited by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation (COLA), if you are in need of blood, thyroid, or any other type of testing. Additionally, we also have an on-site electrocardiogram (EKG) and a computerized X-ray.

Joshua Emergicare accepts most insurance plans and is able to file a claim on your behalf. However, co-pays, deductibles, or services rendered that are not covered by your insurance plan must be paid for upon the completion of your visit. We also offer the services of our Joshua Wellness Program, which can either be used alongside your current insurance provider, or can be used in place of insurance if you do not currently have any insurance plans. What are your hours of operation?

Joshua Emergicare is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are also closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Cinco de Mayo, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
